Doom 2 wad: Crimson Temple
A downloadable Doom WAD
My very first DOOM map! I made this years ago, and recently noticed it wasn't available to download anymore, so I polished it up a bit and I'm uploading this here! I will probably make more of these.
It is a vanilla DOOM 2 styled map with a bit of atmosphere, some custom atmospheric BGM and a lot of secrets, including a hidden exit - though that exit doesn't lead anywhere special for now, this is just a single map. Id say its between Doom 2 and Plutonia in general difficulty, and takes between 30 minutes and 1 hour to complete.
It has different enemy and item placements for the various difficulty levels, and you should not need Jumping, Freelook or Crouching to play it.

Install instructions
To play a Doom 2 WAD, you need a modern DOOM source port such as GZDoom or Boom (these are freeware), as well as the Doom 2 IWAD file (doom2.wad) from owning Doom 2.
I have tested this wad on GZDoom and ZDoom, so I recommend either of those to play this, but probably most modern ones will do.
